After a C-Section, your belly muscles will ache and will be especially sensitive to movement such as rolling over in bed, laughing or coughing. The incision mark will be sore, like a cut would be, but your doctor should provide you with medications that will make the pain minimal.

The procedure itself can be rather painful. If given an epidural, it can be painful when the baby is removed and the afterbirth is removed. With my first child I was in a lot of pain, but for my second I mentioned that I had pain and asked for more in the epidural this made it completely painless.

I think it depends on your physical condition going into the pregnancy. The better shape you are in before the C-Section, the better you will heal and less pain involved.

There isn't any pain during the actual procedure (but you'll feel pressure). After, the only pain I had was when I had to sit or stand. Lasted about 2 weeks.
