Obviously the proper thing to do for a kitten when sick is to take it straight to the vet. In my experiences with cats, they are not humans and cannot be treated like one. They need special medications or shots thtat we cannot provide at home. Take the kitten straight to the vet, no ands ifs or buts.

The best thing to do for a sick kitten is to make sure she feels safe and comfortable. Take her to a quiet room and sit with her.
