Make sure they get enough water by giving them meals and treats with a large amount of water in the bowl. Also, ensure that the dog always has fresh water available and has plenty of shade.
It is very dangerous for a dog to become dehydrated. You need to cool the dog down, and definitely give it plenty of water. If you fear he/she is not getting better, take the dog to the vet.
