Make sure you are using the appropiate shockwave player for you computers operating system. Also disable any pop up blocker or firewall that will not allow the software to download and install.

Check to see if your computer is capable of handling the version of shockwave you are trying to install. Good luck.

Try downloading to a folder then opening it up, if that does not work you should see a trouble shooting or help foler to help you out

This is a very common issue, sometimes what you need to do is change your internet browser, Mozilla FireFox is reliable. If that's not the issue, you'll have to double check your computer's compatibility to make sure you can run the latest version without kinks.

Unfortunately I need to know what happens when it doesn't install (error messages etc). If the particular program won't install, try looking for alternative players on the internet

You need to go to control panel and uninstall the program, restart your system, then reinstall and it should work
