Rule out any possible reasons for his asthma including bedding, soaps, food allergies, or outdoor allergies. Puppies are extremely delicate so any number of things could be the cause. Once you've determined the cause and disposed of whatever it was purchase a humidifier and make sure to watch him closely at all times.

I think it may help to buy a humidifier and have that set at an optimal level within the house to create a therapeutic and germ-free environment. The humidifier should work in the same sense as it does for humans in getting rid of allergens. Otherwise, steer clear of irritants.

Take him to the vet and get his advice. You can make sure your home is clean and free of dust.
