These blackheads usually occur on dogs on their lower jaw area. Same as people, they are clogged pores. The best way to control these is to get medicated wipes from your Veterinarian, or wash gently twice daily with anti-bacterial soap. Good luck!

First, do not use any products that are made for human use. Go to your vet and see it this "blackhead" problem isn't actuall a skin allergy that your dog is suffering from. Also try allergy, yeast, hot spot specific shampoos found at your local pet store.

What you can do for a dog that has blackheads is scrub it with a solution every day and iff it doesn't go away take it to the vet.

Blackheads can be prevented primarily by bathing the animal on a regular basis using a quality sahmpoo for their skin type.
