What can I do about my brown hedge?

You need to figure out why it is brown. If it is not getting enough light you could try pruning other shrubs and trees in the area to let your hedge dominate a bit more.

You first want to get rid of the dead parts of the hedge, then use fertilizer to help revive the hedge.

If there is just a small section that is brown, cut out that part to allow for new healthy growth. If it's entirely brown, watering and nutrients are in order.

Your brown hedge could be developing due to many causes. Check for and treat insects or root based fungus. Is it in direct sun? Certain hedges need less light. Is it to close to other hedges? You may want to trim the hedge to give it 'breathing room'.

If your hedge is brown, it is dead. Remove the hedge and all the roots and try replanting a new hedge. Be sure that other hedges are spaced correctly and not too close togeather. Do not over water the new hedge or you could face the same problem again. Add a small amount of fertilizer.

You should take some clippers to it and/or mow it down to the ground. Once the hedge is completely gone, plant a new health hedge to keep your yard clean

The answer depends on why the hedge is brown. Obvious reasons include disease or environment. It may require more or less sun than it's receiving. It may need additional water, in which case using a soaker hose may provide good results. Web search the type of hedge.

hedges are a pain pull them out and plant something you like i plant all kind of flower that came back every year,hedge are such a pain trimming and keep up with pull them
