Hardwood can be a variety of colors, so you will need to decide whether to match the color or use a color that compliments the hardwood color. The best thing to do is get a small sample piece of the baseboard to hold it next to the hardwood.

Any baseboard goes well with hardwood flooring. It is really your preference. Make sure the finish of the molding matches the flooring.
