Selecting a bait depends on the type of stream, fast or slow, time of day or even year. The most commonly used is flys, then spinners and lastly live bait.
Power bait or a bright colored lure works very well. The fish get curious with the bright colors. The power bait has an extra advantage because the fish can smell it.
