What attracts ghosts?

I think ghosts are drawn to either places, or people, that they loved in life. I also think they must be drawn to me as I am in my second home that appears to be haunted.

Any scientist or rationale human being would tell you that ghosts aren't demonstrably real and thus can't be attracted to anything. Those who believe in ghosts say that they are attracted to locations where there has been some kind of intense emotion such as a murder or torture.

They're attracted to people who are likely to notice and not be afraid of them.
