What are the various kinds of dentistry degrees?

All dental degrees to become a DDS are the same. You can become a hygienist in 18 months but it is not the same thing as becoming a dentist though.

All dentistry degrees require the same amount of schooling; they are just labeled differently, depending on the school (DDS or DMD). Dental school is more demanding than medical school. If you are looking for something that requires "the least schooling," dentistry is not the program for you.
