Tapeworms can be difficult to detect, but the main symptoms are weight loss when eating the ususal diet, frequently hungry, and many times you can see part of the worm in your stool. Tapeworms are somewhat dangerous, and difficult to get rid of.

Symptoms may include headaches, minor seizures, craving for sugar, confusion, constant hunger, nausea and weight loss. Tapeworms are very harmful as they take all the nourishment from the body and inhibit the proper functioning of digestive enzymes.

One of the most obvious signs is seeing a thin, black worm in the toilet after you go to the bathroom. It can come out alive or dead. Sometimes there are no symptoms, but if someone eats a lot and continues to lose weight, it could be a sign. All my kids have had them and they're not deadly.
