Symptoms of gonorrhea are often very mild in women. They include painful or burning urination, increased vaginal discharge, or spotting between periods. Other symptoms are pain or bleeding during or after sex, and yellow or bloody vaginal discharge. Later symptoms are fever and nausea. Many women who are infected have no symptoms.
