They do not babble or form single words by age two. There is little eye contact and no response to communications. They do not recognize facial expressions or tones. They cannot empathize.

start to suspect when the child is at age 3 and hasnt learned anything. if theyre either very quiet all the time, or when their excited they do this arm flappy thing. its not always worse case, my younger brother didnt speak till age 6 and he only has aspergers.
