First, you have to remove the covering on the inside of the door. The "pop spots" for this should be located on the inside and bottom of the door, respectively. After removing the panel, you should be able to see if there is any sort of blockage or snagging in the handle gears. Clear debris and attach door frame.

For this you will have to open up the door panel and see if there is anything stuck or what is causing the problem.
