If your thyroid is hyperactive, you may lose wait quickly without dieting or otherwise trying to lose. You may feel hot much of the time. You also may have anxiety, insomnia, and muddled thinking If your thyroid is underactive, you may gain weight for no reason, have difficulty with temperature changes, and feel fatigued.

A thyroid problem might appear as weight loss or weight gain. You might be tired all the time. The eyes may have a 'poppy' look. Your skin can become course or dry.

Signs of problems with the thyroid can include fatigue, appetite changes, weight gain or loss, changes in skin type (oil production, etc.) or changes in women's menstrual cycles that are not explained by other causes.

Signs of thyroid problems varies with each individual. Some have fatigue, especially adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalance, man or a woman could have this also. You could have insulin resistance, sleeplessness, and just blab, very depressed.
