You can find the answer in the bible. In Matthew 24 Jesus speaks of many that will come saying they are Christ and mislead many. There will be wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes. God's people will be hated and murdered. Many supposed Christians will fall away.

There will be earthquakes, famines and diseases. There will be wars and the threat of wars. Deception will be widespread. There will be signs from heaven but the end will not be yet. All these things must come to bring the end. Sobering isn't it.
