What are the signs of an insecure guy?

From female perspective, I look for several things. First, insecurity usually causes overly defensive responses to constructive criticism. Second, insecurity usually causes a guy to spend a lot of time convincing others of his 'greatness' or his overall aptitude. Third, it will cause a guy to spend a lot effort puting others down to make himself look better.

An insecure guy will be jealous all the time. He will have trust issues and will most likely be a loner.

Extreme possessiveness or jealousy can spell real trouble. For example, reading emails/text messages, checking your phone, demanding to know where you are at all times, regular accusations of cheating.

There are many signs but most commonly the guy will act suspicious or jealous of his spouse or close friends first.
