What are the side effects of taking amoxicillan pills?

Nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, gastritis, and abdominal pain are commonly side effects of amoxicillin. It is safe for breastfeeding unless the infant develops allergy against penicillin.

You could break out in a rash, have diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. You could have a allergic reaction such as breaking out in hives, bloody diarrhea, swelling of the mouth and face. The can cause dark discolored urine, vaginal discharge resulting in yeast infection. And no they are not safe to take if you are breast feeding!

Possible side effects of Amoxicillan include diarrhea, vomiting, bloody stools, confusion, fever, chills, seizures, yellowing of the skin and eyes and blistered, red or peeling skin. It is not safe to use Amoxicillan when breastfeeding as this can harm your baby.
