The most common risks are hypertension and cardiac disorders, and being at high risk for diabetes. There is also a toll taken on the lungs and large joints, particularly the knees. Obesity increases the risk of fatty liver disease, elevated cholesterol, pulmonary artery problems, low self esteem and intimacy problems, and an early death.

Being obese leads to all kinds of health risks. The chances of getting Heart disease, cancers, and other diseases are increased for obese individuals.
