What are the restrictions or rules for prayer clothes?

My boyfriend told me to be sure to wear them, but I don't know what that means.

It really depends on the religion. However, most religious orders agree that you should not wear tight clothes that show off your figure. You should generally cover your arms and your leg, with no low-cut tops. In addition, you may be required to cover your hair, so it is advisable to carry a light-weight fabric scarf with you.

There are religions that require specific articles of clothing for prayer, such as Muslim women having to wear a veil. For all faiths, modest clothing that covers your breasts, is not form fitting, and does not show skin on your torso is appropriate. You may also be required to wear a skirt or head scarf.

there shouldnt be such thing as "prayer clothes". God listens to prayers from honest hearted ones who seek him truthfully. Next time Jehovahs witnesses are at your door ask them about prayer. you'll see their answers work. and completely based on the bible.

In many cultures women are required to cover their hair at places of worship. Usually legs need to be fully covered too, so no short skirts or dresses.
