The only pro is a lesser chance of having unwanted pregnancy but there are more cons to it which are, weight gain, change of appetite, acne, being moody.

Pro's are predictable periods, lighter periods. Con's are it is a triphasic pill so skipping periods is not as easy as with other pills. Other con's depend on the person who is using it, but it may cause bloating, decreased sex drive, mood swings. The best way to find out if it works for you is trying it 3 months.

I use Ortho Tricyclen Lo, and I'm going to switch because it's expensive. Also, I have been "spotting" for almost a month now...so I'm going to switch. No one wants a period for a month straight, even if it's a light one!

Pro's of using ortho tricyclen are it's Cheap and effective and wide availability.The Con's it's effective for only 2-3 year's After this it start's losing it's effect and body get's used to it Rendering it non effective in stopping pregnancy. But good for the short term.
