Typically the parents of the groom don't have as many responsibilities as the bride's, but there are few things they should do. They should host the groom's dinner and provide presents for all the grooms' men and bride's maids. They should also help pay for the catering and other expenses. They don't need to help pay for the wedding dress.

The parents of the groom normally pay for the groom's tux/suit and those of the male attendants, unless it is beyond their means. They also are in charge of the rehearsal dinner after the wedding rehearsal, usually the night before the wedding.

The groom's parents are traditionaly resopnsible for paying for and hosting te rehersal and the rehersal dinner. The bride and groom will generally plan this and the grooms parents should offer forward the payment. Another thing that the groom's parents sometimes pay for is the fee for the pastor/priest or whomever is marrying the couple.

They are in charge of the Groom's dinner which is usually paired with the rehearsal. The dinner usually includes a cake and food catered from a nice place. The grooms mother is also usually in charge of lighting the groom side of the unity candle. If they want to they can help pay for catering and other wedding costs.
