What are the most accurate lung cancer statistics?

Statistics show that only about 10% of people who are diagnosed with lung cancer were not active smokers. All non-smokers are at risk simply because of second hand smoke, Radon, and possible exposure to asbestos. Another factor is air pollution which is something no one can avoid.

In 2010, there are an estimated 222,520 new cases of lung cancer and an estimated 157,300 deaths. Smokers are 30 times more likely to get lung cancer than non-smokers.
