Annulment is an option for dissolving most marriages. Annulment laws vary from state to state. In Texas marriage has to be annulled for reasons like ,age at the time of marriage is 14,fraud,any force is involved for the marriage, hiding of facts like a party was divorced within the last 30 days, or the parties was mentally incompetent

The laws on this vary depending on the situation. The laws in Texas are very strict about what things you can and can't file an annulment for. If this case falls under "non-compatibility" you have to get a divorce, no matter how short of a time you have been married.

There is no specific time limit. However, the grounds for annulment are fraud, duress (you were threatened), if one or both parties were drunk or drugged, if one party was divorced less than 30 days before the marriage, mental incapacity or if one of you was under 18.

Time frame really doesn't matter in the state of Texas. In order to get in annaulment the marriage has to have been proven to be invalid in the state. Some reasons for this would include marriage of a minor without parent concent. If you or your spouse was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs at the time of marriage.
