Land pollution primarily occurs due to toxic elements and chemicals getting mixed with the land. The long-term effects of this could be health hazards like skin diseases, respiratory problems for humans. It also affects animals and plants, in short the entire environment.

What we call land pollution is pervasive. Beneath our land sit our water tables. From our land grow our food sources. Above our land roam the animals that we eat. Farther above that floats a deteriorating atmosphere, corroded by the noxious gases of the over-consumption of low quality livestock. If our lands are polluted, everything else will be as well.
