How do you stop pollution?

You, alone, cannot stop pollution. You can limit your usage of pollution causing items, but life becomes overwhelmingly difficult in the process. There are things that counteract and filter pollution, like plants. You can donate to anti-pollution farms or plant several trees on your own to offset some pollution, but it takes many, many people to do the right thing.

Pollution is a difficult to discuss in such general terms. Even if you lived in the jungle with no technology etc, when you catch a fish and clean it, leaving the remains behind is pollution, so yes, everything pollutes to some extent.
