Messed up teeth, bad breath, bad gag reflux, horrible body image, multiple disorders/disease from bad nutrition, and death. My mother lost a child due to extreme bulimia.

The long-term effects of bulimia can be very serious. Bulimia tears up your throat due to the constant vomiting; you can seriously damage your lungs and esophagus.

As bulimia involves vomiting stomach contents, the esophagus (the tube that food travels down from the mouth to the stomach) is vulnerable to damage from the stomach acids that are being regurgitated. Also, tooth enamel is damaged by stomach acids, so teeth can begin to decay. Hair loss is common without proper nutrition as well.

Bulimia is a serious disorder and the long-term effects are severe. It messes with your organs, contorts what you think about food forever and takes the enamel off your teeth.
