Well if not properly maintain then yes any kind of convertible will eventually leak. You must treat the seals regularly to keep them pliable and replace them if they get hard or damaged.

soft top convertibles usually do not leak when they are new as time goes on an the tops dry out and shrink some I have seen a few very minor
