What are the effects of warmed milk on children?

I wonder if warm milk is good or bad.

Milk that is warm from sitting on counters will grow bacteria and cause a human, child or otherwise, to get sick. Intentionally warmed milk will put a child to sleep!

Research has shown that warm milk can be tolerated quite well by children that are lactose intolerant. While warm milk may not cause sleep to come any sooner, it doesn't seem to hurt a child who drinks it. Of course, since the milk is warm it would need to be used immediately or either poured out due to bacteria growth.

Warm milk is good for babies and children, in fact that is all that you give to an infant. It helps to calm them and can aid in helping them get to sleep. You have to be careful not to get it so warm that it could burn their mouth or throat.

There isn't much different between warm milk and cold one. However, in winter it might be better for children to have warm milk as the air is already cold enough.
