Acer TravelMate's Dimensions (WxDxH): 12 in x 8.9 in x 1.4 in Acctually Acer TravelMate has different models it is the dimensions of 1TravelMate but all other laptops have dimensions around them. As the other type of TravelMate is (12.8" x 10.7" x 1.4")its comfortable to use on an airplane.

The travel mate has 36 x 28 centimeters. It is just 4 cm thick and it has a 15 " display. You should easily be able to use it in an airplane.

The Acer TravelMate weighs less than 5lbs. It has a 12.1in. LCD screen. You can use this laptop on the airplane, as it has a very small size that will fit on the seat back tray tables so long as you are permitted to use electronic devices on your flight.
