Most psychologists categorize their tests as either aptitude or personality. The IQ test is an example of the former while personality can generally be determined through a brief conversation with the test subject. The old way to measure both IQ and personality is to measure the width of the skull.

Examples include Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Personality Theory, Developmental Psychology, Introductory Psychology, School Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Educational Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, and Counseling Psychology.

There are IQ tests to measure intelligence, the MMPI to rate personality styles into 16 categories. There are ink blot tests, but I personally see no benefit in those.
