Stereotypically speaking of course, conventional Russian families are set up as follows: the father works and provides for the family while the mother usually stays home and cares for the family.

Multiple generations of family tend to live together as a unit in small apartments. Women tend to have to work and take care of all needs in the household.

The traditions and cultures are very different in Russia. The members in the family do their correct role properly. The men(father) go to work and earn money for the living purpose. The women(mother) has take care of family. Some groups of families are living not single,they living as unit.
