What are common illnesses in Russian Tortoise?

I have a pet Russian Tortoise who seems kind of sluggish lately, I am concerned that he may be getting sick.

One common illness will be parasites,it will affect its feces. Another is metabolic bone disease,which is a nutritional problem. We know tortoise have strong shell and will need huge calcium.

Make sure the housing is clean and at 85F (drop a few degrees at night)Housing should be humid at one end(up to 70%) No humidity can dehydrate a tortoise. Have the vet check fecal matter for parasites. If the tortoise is sick the vet may recommend a vitamin B injection.
