What are the different fields in nursing?

I would like to major in nursing and want to know what my options are.

There are many options in nursing and reflects the spectrum of fields available in health care. You can become a nurse in a hospital setting, such as a surgical nurse or an intensive care unit nurse.You could practice independently if you become a nurse practitioner and potentially build your own practice which can be very rewarding.
