Though they are both Christians, there are significant differences between the two sects: Presbyterians baptize during infancy, while Baptists wait until adulthood; Baptist services are less elaborate than Presbyterians; unlike mainstream Presbyterians, Baptists are creationists; free will has a larger role in the Baptist's Salvation. The churches themselves operate differently: Baptist congregations have a much greater say in policy decisions.

Reformed baptists have their own rules about certain things. For example, they do not have as many rules as the other group. They actually can dress however they want and they can dance and what not. It is more of a pastor specific church for the baptists. Whatever the pastor says goes.

Most Reformed Baptists follow the theology of John Calvin just like Presbyterians, but they still believe in Baptism - total immersion not just sprinkling as many Catholics do in their Christening - for believers only. The idea of Calvinism as an approach to Christian life has also been called Reformed theology, Reformed tradition and Reformed faith.
