What are the colonies in the Chesapeake region?

The British three colonies in the Chesapeake region were the Colony of Virginia, the Province of Maryland and Delaware Colony. New Sweden was once part of Delaware.

The only colonies that touched the Chesapeake Bay were Virginia (founded in 1607 and named after Elizabeth I the "virgin" queen) and Maryland. Delaware is also close to the Chesapeake Bay but those are the only three colonies that would be considered to be part of the Chesapeake Bay region.
