A person with schizoaffective disorder would appear to be confused, possibly paranoid. They may have delusions or hallucinations - so you may see them talking to themselves. There is a lack of attention to person hygiene, ie, the person might stop bathing. The person might have thoughts of suicide or homicide. They could also have difficulty sleeping.

A person with this disorder will have both manic and depressive episodes, like with bipolar disorder, but also have distortions in perception along with or in between these episodes.
