The Canons of Rhetoric were established by Cicero. They include: 1) Invention-determining how to persuade; 2) Arrangement-organizing an effective argument; 3) Style-presenting the argument in a moving way; 4) Memory-speaking naturally without memorizing a speech; 5) Delivery-effective use of voice and gestures.

The breakdown of any speech or paper perpetrated by Plato. First invent your topic, second arrange your points, third determine a style (humourous, serious, technical, fourth what will you do to help your target audiance to remember what you said and finally delivery if speaking do so with confidence if written present the best package.
