Kids under 10 should usually be watched, but normally sites like NickJr. or Neopets where there's a lot of rules and control to make sure no information to compromise the safety of your children.

Neopets is good for kids because it has a lot of games that do help them learn math and spelling, with out them even knowing they are doing it. It also teaches them proper pet care. The pets can get sick or get hungry if not tended to correctly.
