The best uses include making omelets, cooking bacon, making scrambled eggs, making pancakes, frying pork chops. You may also use it for things like frying eggs and making grilled cheese sandwiches. This is a very versatile piece of cookware.

A 12" skillet is a pretty large sized skillet. It is good for many things - cooking omelets or bacon in, or cooking pieces of meat or quickly stir frying some vegetables.

To begin with, a 12-inch skillet is NOT a small skillet - it is considered a large skillet. You can use it to cook anything which you would cook in another size skillet. Just make sure that the amount of food you are cooking "fits" your skillet.

Twelve inch skillets are great for smaller portions. I like to use mine to cook over easy eggs in the morning. You don't need a big skillet for that. I also use it if I'm just going to saute a small portion of onions and peppers or saute a little minced garlic.
