It depends on the type of patio, but obviously a really popular choice is the solar lights that have stakes on the bottom and stick in the ground. They are generally relatively inexpensive, don't require any wiring, and are not permanent fixtures.

In my own opinion I think the outdoor solar lights are the best kind of patio lights.They come in differnt shapes in sizes to fit your style needs, decorating,also giving you the right amount of lighting on your homes patio.The prices are cheap so it will not put a dent in your wallet.

It really depends on the style or theme of your patio. My favorite patio or outdoor lights are the solar-powered ones that are shaped like stakes that you stab into the ground. There is no need to wire electricity, easy to maintain, and easy to install. I also enjoy tiki torch lights. They are very festive.
