For cardio some good things to do is run on the tredmil, use the station bike, or go on the eliptical for a really intense workout. For other things, just lift some weights, use the machines, and use an exercise ball for effective crunches.

Every gym will have a recommended 'routine' or an area for it. Start with that and feel how your body responds. Only you can know what is working but make sure that any exercise you try gets your full attention and a lengthy trial period to see results.
