What are the best Grisham novels?

The Firm was his first serious venture into fiction and I think it still holds up well today. It deals with corporate intrigue in a manner that is both exciting and compelling and not overly formulaic. The Client is also one of his early pieces and contains probably the richest characters found in Grisham's fiction

The Rainmaker, The Firm, and The Juror are excellent choices for someone who has never read Grisham before. He is a talented creative artist and his plots are suspenseful and thrilling. Other recommendations to begin with might be The Partner, The Appeal, A Time to Kill (which was very good) and Bleachers. The
