The one I use is called, "Nair. " You can wear it for a few minutes and then wipe it off. It smells bad but it usually does the job pretty well.

Creams work a little better, they are a little less harsh. What you want to do is look at the times given on the bottle, 2 mins. too harsh.

Nivea makes an excellent cream for hair removal above the lip. Whatever brand you choose, the best are stay put gels and creams that won't drip into the lip area or easily get smeared. Test a small area of skin first for allergies.

Wax strips are great for removing hair on the face. You can go to a salon and get professional permant removal done if you don't feel like waxing every month.
