What are the best exercises to reduce tummy flab?

I have extra weight around my waist line after giving birth and need to start an exercise routine that will help get me back in shape.

Nothing beats walking and jogging and running. All will strengthen your core. Anytime you want to lose weight, burning more calories than what you taken in daily is key.

Sit ups is always the best recommendation when it comes to toning your ab muscles, or simply reducing tummy flab. In addition, you should be doing as much cardio as you can, to have the fat come off. Crunches is also a recommended exercise to achieve what you are looking for.

The best exercises are running (a mix of sprinting and longer runs) and free weight exercises like squats, shoulder press, and pull-ups will help your body get in shape. Don't worry about "bulking up" - keep the weights in the moderate range and focus on good form. Mixing aerobics with moderate weight lifting will burn the fat off quickly.

Despite frequent claims to the contrary, no exercise can remove fat from a particular area. The only effective way to get rid of fat is to get healthy in general, and reduce your fat everywhere on your body. This includes not only eating a healthy diet, but a regular exercise routine, which should include a variety of exercises.
