Auden was born in England, and became an American citizen and lived in Brooklyn. He was 66 when he died in Austria in 1973. Auden's "Funeral Blues" is perhaps his best known poem since it was featured in the movie "Four Weddings and A Funeral."

Wystan Hugh Auden was born in 1907 and died in 1973. He was born in England and later became an American citizen. He published more than 400 poems. See his books, "Poems" and "Look, Stranger!" Also, "Funeral Blues" is on of his most famous poems.
