What are the advantages and disadvantages of using an employee selection service?

An advantage for using the service is a plethora of workers for smaller tasks--like this one. A disadvantage is that the company isn't seeking workers that will stay longer than the required time allotted.

The main advantage is that you will be pulling from a larger pool of employees, making it more likely you will find an employee quickly. The major disadvantage is that, depending on the service, the employee may not be a good fit for your organization.

The advantages are that you will find a wide variety of different jobs that are not posted in a news paper or unemployment center. You will find larger corporations like to use services to find them employees. The disadvantages are many of these jobs are temporary jobs, or temporary to hire. It many only be a short employment situation.

An advantage is that often you can find jobs that you otherwise would not be aware of. Many companies go through employee selection services. However, you need to be aware of scams. They too use employee selection services, and you need to be wary. Anything that offers quick money is usually suspicious.

Advantages are that you don't have to spend a week sorting through candidates, and disadvantages are that the candidates found by the service will not be to your liking.
