It depends upon your definition of unusual of course, but the New Hampshire Old Man of the Mountain, a mountain landscape, is odd primarily because it resembles a human face (the "face" has since fallen off). Oxbow lakes are unusual and are the result of rivers changing their course. These are often found along the Mississippi.
