Make a bank, a candle holder, a candy can, a drum, a small junk can that holds anything from collectables to odds and ends, make a pen and pencil holder, make a stationary holder, a marker organizer, a pretty can holder for make-up, spray paint and use as a household nail holder and decorate and use as a craft bucket.

Cover the outside with paper or fabric. Use the can for storage of pens, pencils, crayons and paint brushes. If you use it to store seeds for the garden, cover the outside with construction paper and glue empty seed packets on the paper. You can paint it white, draw or paint a snowman face, Add cookies in a plastic bag.

You can make a pencil holder by painting the can with acrylic paint or gluing construction paper onto it. You can even mod-podge some origami paper to make your new pencil holder look nice and the way you want! Use multiple cans, you can glue them to make robots. You can attach smaller ones on the side for arms.

You can make a drum by flipping the empty can over and using hands or sticks to hit the bottom. My favorite is making stilts. You make two holes on the sides of the can and thread string through, (on the outside) then you stand on the cans and hold the strings taut and can walk.

You can wrap it up in wrapping paper and use it as a coin bank or pencil holder. You can cut out a few small holes in the bottom and use it as a plant container. You can poke various holes into it, put in some dog food, then give it to your dog to play with.
